Boatnurd's Milwaukee "Grab Bag"
Various pics around the city that don't fit any one topic. Will not be lengthy photo threads but as I say "Grab Bag".
This is one old building that has become a Milwaukee symbol for many years (3rd & Wisconsin).

Re: Boatnurd's Milwaukee "Grab Bag"
Nice Boat! Hehe, love the topic title. It hurts so much to go down that stretch of Wisc. Ave...those stores just really irk me. Removing those stores and putting in something(anything) different would probably be the single-biggest thing to boost downtown retail.
Looking forward to more out of your "grab bag"!

One of my favorites
I love this shot... Simple, but seems like it should be in Europe. Yet it's in our back yard.

Re: Boatnurd's Milwaukee "Grab Bag"
I love how you can see the lake in the last pic of North Ave! Nice! Is it open to the public up there? I've always been under the impression(don't know why) that it wsa fenced off????

Re: Boatnurd's Milwaukee "Grab Bag"
The old fence has been taken down. One of those goofy 1-foot tall orang plastic construction fences is surrounding th entire lower part of the reservoir. I just stepped over it and climbed the path. If you want to go up there I would do it soon. Not sure what they are planning to do but it looks big!
