Re: Boatnurd's Milwaukee "Grab Bag"
North Avenue pic really gives a sense of how tall the old water tower really is. Sweet angle.

Re: Boatnurd's Milwaukee "Grab Bag"
Hey Boat, I hope you don't mind if I throw in a few extras I've taken.
The lightning strike I partially captured!
Fireworks on the 4th...
Eerie skies after a storm(I swear, I didn't edit this at ALL!)
And one from the south side at night...

Those are great shots. Truly captured a moment like hitting a hole-in-one. Keep them coming Clark. The pano shot at night looks cool with the contruction lights on UCT.

That would be looking south from my apt.

Re: Boatnurd's Milwaukee "Grab Bag"
Boatnurd, have they moved the building yet? I remember someone saying it was going to be this spring, and on the History channel, but that's all I can recall.
And I agree about the Wisconsin Tower. Those balconies, along with the mast/antenna being lit at night, almost completely transforms that building. Now if only they'd do something with the ugly west side of the building, I'd be very pleased!
I've been wondering about you Boatnurd!! Glad you shared some pics, and looking forward to more soon!

Re: Boatnurd's Milwaukee "Grab Bag"
Clark, The building was moved about 200 feet west of where it was lifted from. A temporary stop for now. Until we start seeing digging accross the street to lay the foundation, I think it will sit there forn a while. The first pic shows where it use to be.
