Re: Convent Hill
It looks cooler than I thought it would. Seen the renderings on the board, never saw the closeup. Thanks Boatnurd!
BTW--this thing will look huge. Hate to sound like a broken record--but that area is going to be uber impressive. It will look like San Francisco or something judging on the renderings of that 4 corner area with Terraces of River Bluff, this old folks tower (who says old people cant add to the city?), and Block 22/26.

Re: Convent Hill
It's a perfect spot considering it's within walking distance of a grocery plus any of the additional retail that's going to be built soon.

Re: Convent Hill
Hey if anyone has an opportunity, could someone please post a pic of the construction underway from across the river somewhere? I'm trying to picture how much of an impact a building of this size will have on the skyline from angles across the river. Thanks in advance if anyone can do that. Cheers.

Re: Convent Hill
This building will be significant at this site which is on top of the hill.
Any idea what future phases involve? Will the current tower which is very tired (and my voting poll place) come down?

Re: Convent Hill
Thanks
I drove by the other night. It looks good, they have the elevador shaft finished and the first 3 floors have siding now. This is an ok project. I want the city to move the poor folk out of downtown. This project would be better at 13th and highland. Or better yet just farther away from downtown. 13th and Highland has a ton of potential, someday, that will be filled with new homes and lofts. I can feel it.
